The Town of Queensbury borders Lake George and the City of Glens Falls.

The 153-mileCentral Adirondack Trail forms the shape of a crescent, originating inthe fertile lowland areas surrounding the cities of Glens Falls andRome, and winding through the south-central portion of the AdirondackPark. The Hudson River on the eastern end and the Erie Canal on thewest are the gateways to many scenic lakes and mountain streams thatare the distinguishing geographic features along much of this scenicbyway.
