Fifth Lake

Central Adirondack Trail, , near Inlet in Hamilton County

One of eight lakes in the Fulton Chain of Lakes, Fifth Lake is the smallest of the group, and roughly to the west of Inlet.

As one of the eight lakes in the Fulton Chain of Lakes, 5th Lake is at the east end of Fourth Lake near Inlet. A stream allows access from their to Fifth Lake. A portage is then necessary to arrive at Sixth Lake. This resource is in Section 1 of the Northern Forest Canoe Trail, a 740-mile water route extending from Old Forge in the Adirondack Park to Fort Kent, Maine.
