The Sports Wing houses 31 exhibits of sports activities related to Rome, capturing the thrill and the achievements of Rome's gifted athletes with pictures, trophies, uniforms and equipment depicting their days of glory.
Located at 5790 Rome-New London Road (Route 49W), the Racing Wing houses the Rapid Roman Richie Evans car and two of Dave Packer’s speed boats, along with appropriate artifacts. Open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, 10:30 a.m. -2:30 p.m., Wed-Sun, or by appt. Wheelchair accessible. Phone: (315) 339-9038.
