An historic spot once an 1800s stagecoach stop that became, in 1920, one of the first two Forest Preserve campsites built for auto tourists.
Situated in a stand of white pine and northern hardwoods on the Sacandaga River, this serene campground offers the camper a wide selection of fishing and hiking on nearby state lands.
